New Release! Into The Mystery

For several years, people have been asking me to create a CD that featured only my toning with the Tibetan Singing Bowls. Despite feeling impelled to create such a piece, it has taken me until now to do so.

When I went into the studio, I invoked the presence of Shama'el, Saraswati, and Aubari, the archangel and goddesses of sacred sound. It was my intention to set aside my ego and allow myself to be a vehicle for these glorious beings to express through me and my beloved companions, the Tibetan Singing Bowls, sounds that would touch the heart and soul of all who heard it. When I listened to the completed work, that was my experience.

But even more than that, in my chest I felt "bits and pieces" of I-know-not-what, fall into place and engage something new, something Higher, something profound. I don't have words to truly describe what happened for me; however, it doesn’t really matter because as you listen, the only experience that counts will be yours.

Harbinger is the title I chose for the track on this CD because it came to me so strongly. Harbinger seems to have a life of its own and feels like a foreshadower of something wonderful—something that only comes when you allow yourself to move into the mystery. I don’t yet have a clue about what that “something wonderful” will be but I am willing to keep moving my feet and see where I am led. My most sincere hope is that its effect on you will be the same. Along the Way is a compilation of my original songs. The inspiration for some of these songs came as a result of my experiences and the insights gained while on journeys in the Peruvian Andes and the Amazon basin. Notes about each song are included in the CD insert.

After fighting traffic to get out of Atlanta for our vacation, I tried to relieve the stress by listening to an audio book, but it only made me sleepier. Finally, I grabbed Patricia's CD "Along The Way" and slipped it into the player. Within two minutes my spirits had lifted, and I felt energized.
